Afemai Association of Canada (AAC)

Promoting Unity, Culture, Social Engagement, and Development Among Afemai People in  Canada

About Us

The Afemai Association of Canada (AAC) is a non-profit, non-political social and cultural organization established to serve the interests of Afemai people residing in Canada. As both a social and a community network, AAC provides a space for fellowship, cultural expression, and mutual support among individuals and families of Afemai descent (primarily from Edo North, Edo State, Nigeria).

Our association organizes regular social events and gatherings, including family picnics, cultural nights, networking socials, and holiday celebrations, all aimed at strengthening bonds among members and fostering a sense of belonging. These activities also serve as opportunities to welcome newcomers, celebrate milestones, and engage youth in community life.

In addition to its social functions, AAC is committed to philanthropic and charitable efforts that support vulnerable members of our community in Canada and contribute to development initiatives in Afemai land. From welfare support and scholarships to fundraising for healthcare and infrastructure projects, our association works to make a meaningful impact both locally and abroad.
